MY FAVORITE ANIMAL

Hasil gambar untuk sea anemone
So right now, I will introduce you about my favorite animal, sea anemone. Sea anemone is an animal that live under water. Sea anemone is an animal, not a plant. many people confused sea anemone as plant, but actually sea anemone has:

Kingdom:Animalia
Phylum:Cnidaria
Class:Anthozoa
Subclass:Hexacorallia
Order:Actiniaria
Sea anemones are a group of water-dwelling, predatory animals of the order Actiniaria. They are named for the anemone, a terrestrial flower. Sea anemones are classified in the phylum Cnidaria, class Anthozoa, subclass Hexacorallia. Anthozoa often have large polyps that allow for digestion of larger prey and also lack a medusa stage. As cnidarians, sea anemones are related to corals, jellyfish, tube-dwelling anemones, and Hydra.

Many sea anemones form symbiotic relationships with single-celled dinoflagellates, zooxanthellae or with green algae, zoochlorellae, that live within their cells.

A sea anemone is a sessile polyp attached at the bottom to the surface beneath it by an adhesive foot, called a basal disc, with a column-shaped body ending in an oral disc. Most are from 1.8 to 3 cm (0.71 to 1.18 in) in diameter, but anemones as small as 4 mm (0.16 in) or as large as nearly 2 m (6.6 ft) are known. They can have from a few tens to a few hundred tentacles.

A few species are pelagic and are not attached to the bottom; instead, they have a gas chamber within the pedal disc, allowing them to float upside down in the water.

The mouth, also the anus of the sea anemone, is in the middle of the oral disc surrounded by tentacles armed with many cnidocytes, cells that are both defensive and used to capture prey. Cnidocytes contain stinging nematocysts, capsule-like organelles capable of everting suddenly, giving the phylum Cnidaria its name. Each nematocyst contains a small venom vesicle filled with actinotoxins, an inner filament, and an external sensory hair. A touch to the hair mechanically triggers a cell explosion, which launches a harpoon-like structure that attaches to the organism that triggered it, and injects a dose of venom in the flesh of the aggressor or prey. This gives the anemone its characteristic sticky feeling. The sea anemone eats small fish and shrimp.

Unlike other cnidarians, anemones (and other anthozoans) entirely lack the free-swimming medusal stage of their lifecycle; the polyp produces eggs and sperm, and the fertilized egg develops into a planula that develops directly into another polyp.

Anemones tend to stay in the same spot until conditions become unsuitable (prolonged dryness, for example), or a predator attacks them. In that case, anemones can release themselves from the substrate and use flexing motions to swim to a new location. Most sea anemones attach temporarily to submerged objects; a few thrust themselves into the sand or live in burrows; a few are parasitic on other marine organisms, and some have symbiotic relationships with hermit crabs.

Sea anemone is my favorite animal because how unique this animal to eat, move, and anything that concern their survival. this is a video about anemone.

Greenwich City

Hasil gambar untuk greenwich city

Greenwich is an early-established district of today's London,England, centred 5.5 miles (8.9 km) east south-east of Charing Cross. The town lends its name to the Royal Borough of Greenwich.Greenwich is notable for its maritime history and for giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian (0° longitude) and Greenwich Mean Time. The town became the site of a royal palace, the Palace of Placentia from the 15th century, and was the birthplace of many Tudors, including Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.

Riverfront
The Cutty Sark (a clipper ship) has been preserved in a dry dock by the river. Near the Cutty Sark site, a circular building contains the entrance to the Greenwich foot tunnel, opened on 4 August 1902. This connects Greenwich to the Isle of Dogs on the northern side of the River Thames. The north exit of the tunnel is at Island Gardens,[35] from where the famous view of Greenwich Hospital painted by Canaletto can be seen.

Market
There has been a market at Greenwich since the 14th century, but the history of the present market dates from 1700 when a charter to run two markets, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, was assigned by Lord Romney (Henry, Earl of Romney) to the Commissioners of Greenwich Hospital for 1000 years.[44]
The market is part of "the Island site", bounded by College Approach, Greenwich Church Street, King William Walk and Nelson Road, near the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory. The buildings surrounding the market are Grade 2 listed and were established in 1827–1833 under the direction of Joseph Kay. A market roof was added in 1902–08 (and replaced in 2016). Later significant development occurred in 1958–60 and during the 1980s. The landowner, Greenwich Hospital, has been enhancing the Market since 2014 and due to complete in Spring 2016.

Greenwich Mean Time
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is a term originally referring to mean solar time at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich in Greenwich. It is commonly used in practice to refer to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) when this is viewed as a time zone, especially by bodies connected with the United Kingdom, such as the BBC World Service, the Royal Navy, the Met Office and others, although strictly UTC is an atomic time scale which only approximates GMT with a tolerance of 0.9 second. It is also used to refer to Universal Time (UT), which is a standard astronomical concept used in many technical fields and is referred to by the phrase Zulu time.

As the United Kingdom grew into an advanced maritime nation, British mariners kept at least one chronometer on GMT in order to calculate their longitude from the Greenwich meridian, which was by convention considered to have longitude zero degrees (this convention was internationally adopted in the International Meridian Conference of 1884). Note that the synchronization of thechronometer on GMT did not affect shipboard time itself, which was still solar time. But this practice, combined with mariners from other nations drawing from Nevil Maskelyne's method of lunar distances based on observations at Greenwich, eventually led to GMT being used worldwide as a reference time independent of location. Most time zones were based upon this reference as a number of hours and half-hours "ahead of GMT" or "behind GMT".

Greenwich Foot Tunnel

The tunnel links Greenwich town centre on the southern side — the entrance is close to the restored clipper Cutty Sark — and parts of Docklands including Canary Wharf. The northern entrance to the tunnel is at Island Gardens, a park on the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs, with views across the river to the former Greenwich Hospital, the Queen's House and the Royal Greenwich Observatory. Because of its depth and location, the tunnel remains cool even on hot days.

Megantara

Megantara is culture festival that held by my school, SMAN 3 Bandung at Bali field September 10th 2016. The festival itself has Royal Indonesia as its theme. So the stand there was a culture stand or a stand that sell traditional food.

Actually at that time i was very tired. If not for the ticket that I already bought and the lure of extra points at sports and art lesson. So I came there at the last moment. Go to "Rumah Hantu", watch the fashion show and go back home. Truthfully I don't have any impression at Megantara. The food was so-so, the show was boring, etc. But my friend say that the night show was very spectacular. yhe band that invited was very wonderful, the crowd was very energetic, etc. Unfortunately I don't have a change to enjoy that.

This is the list of the show(according to my friend). The first perform is from Band 3 who sing fix you from coldplay, second perform is fashion show, every class must have 3 delegation to perform, there are 2 girls and 1 boy from my class. On the evening many of guest star are perform theirs, the guest star are putra giri harja 3,darul hikam, osd, studio puri hamdani, and the special guest star are special perform from the changchuters and RAN.

My friend say the most popular one was the changcuters and RAN. For the changcuters I can understand that. Because a long long time ago changcuters was my favorite star. But for RAN, I actually never heard that band. So, either I really fall behind at the news or RAN wasn't really that good.

So, that my experience at Megantara. Thank you for your attention.

Science Camp IV 2016

Hello guys, right now I will tell you about my experience in science camp IV 2016.

Science camp is an event that made by extracurricular TRILOGI SMAN 3 Bandung. This event the place and time at Bougenville garden September 16th until September 17th 2016. I am very Happy at this event because his event can become a right excuse to skip pramuka lesson. But I will discover how wrong is that later.

In this event, just like I expected I enter to math division. At the Bougenville garden the the atmosphere was very cold. At first I really like it. But at the night time I felt really cold because I forgot to bring my sleeping bag. In this event student's taught to make their own research. after the lesson, a group will be formed from various division. The group's will chose a theme from 10 theme that available. And then we must complete our research within 1 day!!! That was the first time I regret join this camp.

Fast forward the process, Finally I finish my project at the morning in the next day. the theme for my group was about application of mathematics model, just same as my division. Fortunately the teacher didn't seem displeased of my group performance.

The thing that I got from this camp was a new friend and a new experience. There's so much application of math in a real life. And I didn't seem to interested to study it further.

That's all for this post. Thank you for your attention.
